It’s 7 am at the entrance gate of the Oakland Coliseum. Die-hard deadheads who slept overnight on the sidewalk at the gate begin to wake up and gather their sleeping bags and belongings. Across the street are many converted school busses, vans, trucks and mobile homes. They too are lined up waiting for the gates to open.
